ACCIÓ – NUCLI GRANT AWARDED TO bound4blue

The VIRATGE project carried out by bound4blue SL is supported by ACCIO (The Agency for Business Competitiveness Generalitat de Catalunya) through the program Nuclis de Recerca Industrial i Desenvolupament Experimental and is co-funded by the European Union in the framework of the ERDF (European Fund for Economic and Regional Development) Operational Program Catalonia 2014-2020.

The aim of VIRATGE project is to develop a new type of rigid wingsail for the maritime transport industry. This solution will be a new approach to wind-assisted propulsion methods for cargo vessels. For this project, we will work together with Spanish companies Isonaval, IDI Eureka, Biscarri and the Cabier Institute.
