BLUE WEEK 2019 – PARIS, FRANCE

David Ferrer Desclaux, CTO and co-founder of bound4blue, attended the Blue Week 2019, an event focused on renewable energy and greentech solutions in the field of maritime transport in order to confront polluting emissions and climate change. This forum was a three days event held in Paris and supported by Engie, Gican, Cluster Maritime Français, IWSA and Marin. Every day, a different key topic was addressed by the speakers. The first day, on May 27th, participants talked about renewable ocean energy production, storage and distribution. On the next day, the presentations were about sustainable use of ocean space and marine resources forum, nature inspired solutions and biomimetic forum. Finally, the last day was devoted to explore natural propulsion and zero emissions shipping. Within this context, David Ferrer explain bound4blue’s project and how it contributes to create a cleaner future for the maritime sector.
