  • The Project Veles Invertides Rígides Asimètriques Per Al Transport En Grans Embarcacions (VIRATGE) carried out by Bound 4 Blue, SL is supported by ACCIÓ (The Agency for Business Competitiveness; Generalitat de Catalunya) through the Nuclis de Recerca Industrial i Desenvolupament Experimental programme and has been 43.9% co-funded by the European Union in the framework of the ERDF (European Fund for Economic and Regional Development) Operational Programme Catalonia 2014-2020. The results reached have been: to establish the target market, carry out several studies that improved the design and development, and decreased the CAPEX and OPEX, as well as to manufacture two scaled-down prototypes to validate the technology’s design (internal structure and external cover).

    The eSAIL® Evolution project aims to generate new knowledge about the aerodynamic and structural behavior of Wind-Assisted Ship Propulsion (WASP) systems based on suction sails, achieving the experimental definition and validation of improvements related to aerodynamic optimization, mechanical and structural design, as well as the mitigation of challenges associated with these types of systems.

  • The company BOUND 4 BLUE S.L., with date 01/30/2025 and file number NM24-PC-110, has received a grant amounting to €30,844.91 from SODERCAN, under the framework of Resolution SOD/PLAN/24/24, dated May 16, 2024, which calls for the 2024 subsidy line of the commercial promotion plans program for companies in Cantabria, with the summary published on May 27, 2024, in BOC No. 101.

    In order to implement the company’s commercial promotion plan, the granted aid represents a 70% subsidy on the action, with a maximum amount of €50,000. The execution period is from 10/10/2023 to 10/10/2024, being compatible with other aids and having not received any other aid for the same purpose.
